Use vacant motorway gantry signage to display "KEEP LEFT UNLESS OVERTAKING"
Use vacant motorway gantry signage to display useful messages to road users such as Keeping left unless overtaking, Use indicators when changing lanes, displaying highway codes linked to these offences and the fines and penalties these incur. for example:
KEEP LEFT UNLESS OVERTAKING - Rule 264 HWC
Drive along any motorway in the UK and you will see multiple road users sat in the 2nd, 3rd or 4th lane instead of keeping to the left when it is clear to do so. This type of road behaviour is dangerous & makes it necessary to slow or manoeuvre around. This sometimes results in other users undertaking which is equally dangerous. The highway code for such acts is not enforced enough. HWC & Penalties should be displayed to dissuade unaware road users from performing such anti social driving.
