Put a cap on the price of Bags for Life
I want the government to put a cap on the price of bags for life at about 30p. This keeps them at a price where if you do forget a bag you won’t mind paying for one.
Bags for life. Our best friends in this world. However, some companies try to exploit our love of these bags and charge as much as 50P!!!! This is unacceptable I believe there should be a cap of about 30p (which is still far too ridiculous!). These bags aren’t the ones we get in Aldi with the puns on them. No these are the plastic ones.

The Government has set a charge that retailers must charge for single-use plastic carrier bags, but decisions about what other bags to offer, and the prices for these, is a matter for individual retailers, not the Government or House of Commons.
