PCR test should be free for traveling
Government should make PCR test free for every one..and why you have to self isolated ten days when coming from no red list country and have to have two PCR test on day 2 and 8 ... but if you pay for an Extra test on day 5 and is negative you don't have to finish your 10 day's of quarantine.
Because doesn't make sense you need a negative PCR test to flight to any country in the world and then when you come back you need another one okay that's fine but self isolated for 10 days with 2 more tests for 10 days or pay for an Extra one and finish your self isolation in 5 days to me is not about covid is about making more money from already struggling people financially...why can't be use the Rapid Antigen test as it give you the same result and a fraction of the price.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about existing arrangements for testing and quarantine after international travel, but we're not sure if you just want the Government to make testing free, or also change rules about self-isolation.
We also couldn't publish a petition that claimed that PCR tests and lateral flow tests would give the same result, as these tests work differently and therefore may give different results.
We have published the following petitions, which you might like to sign:
Lower the price of the £210 COVID Home Test Kits for travellers entering the UK: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/575509
Allow international travel with a lateral flow test result: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/582714
Review testing and self-isolation requirements for arrivals to England: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/568602
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
