Boris Johnson's planned trip to India is unnecessary and dangerous and sends the wrong message to people about what is and is not essential foreign travel
India is in the midst of one of the most serious outbreaks of a new variant of the coronavirus. This variant could end up in this country and destroy everything that so many people have worked hard for during the lockdowns.
