I would like the way in which MPs and top Civil Servants are recruited
Government MPs need to be recruited from normal backgrounds and not be taken from backgrounds such as Eton Oxford and Cambridge or the old schoolboy network
The government has become full of people from privelaged backgrounds unable to create meaningfull policies for all sections of the population
In order for the UK population to have proper people representing them the recruitment of MPs needs to change to reflect all sections of the society
MPs and top civil servant selection should focus on unprivelaged backgrounds and normal upbringing
There should alao be an MP and civil servant governemt apprenticeship spending time with all non privelaged people

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about the backgrounds of MPs and senior civil servants, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
MPs are elected by their constituents, not recruited, and employment in the civil service is subject to open recruitment.
We could accept a petition calling on the Government to fund schemes to support people from lower income backgrounds to enter the civil service or politics, if that's something you would like to happen.
