Change the equity structure of EPL Clubs Fans should own 51% private entity 49%
I would like the government to review the equity structure of premier league clubs. Private investors should not have the ability to make significant decisions / alterations without the support and backing of the public that support them.
This is in response to the abhorrent decision from 6 premier league teams to try and pursue a European Super League out of sheer greed!!!
With this abhorrent and heinous proposal the football pyramid that has been cultivated and nurtured for years would cease to exist - leading to increased disparity within the game.
Football is important, it can bring us great joy and great sadness but no matter which team you support with the current system if you have the talent you can rise to the top.

You might like to know that on Monday 19 April the Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden MP said that he was appalled by the announcement that a handful of clubs are proposing to form their own breakaway European league, ands said the Government would not hesitate to protect one of our greatest national institutions: football. The Culture Secretary said that the Government would back the football authorities to stop this move, and if the football authorities couldn’t act, the Government would. The Culture Secretary said the Government would "put everything on the table to prevent this from happening."
