Abolish all plans proposed by the breakaway group - The European Super League.
Parliament must unite with representatives of the FA, the Premier League and Fans in a permanent and official capacity in order to govern and protect the nations football and prevent any such 'closed shop' or breakaway league from being created.
Football has the power to change not only the lives of individuals but to impact the wider society. Football brings people together, it brings families together and most importantly it brings races together. Football has always been and needs now more than ever to be a symbol that everyone can - at the same time, compete together and live along side each other. The Government must take the lead and speak for the people, the real fans and not be dictated to by those whose power is money!

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
On Monday 19 April the Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden MP said that he was appalled by the announcement that a handful of clubs are proposing to form their own breakaway European league, ands said the Government would not hesitate to protect one of our greatest national institutions: football. The Culture Secretary said that the Government would back the football authorities to stop this move, and if the football authorities couldn’t act, the Government would. The Culture Secretary said the Government would "put everything on the table to prevent this from happening."
