NO WIND TURBINE IN BRADSHAW AND HARWOOD, BOLTON
PETITION AGAINST THE ERECTION OF ONE TRIPLE BLADED 33 METRE HIGH WIND TURBINE (TOTAL HEIGHT INCLUDING ROTORS 45.4 METRES) FIELD TO THE NORTH EAST OF MEADOW BARN AND TO THE SOUTH EAST OF COVERED RESERVOIR, OFF SLACK LANE, BRADSHAW, BOLTON.
Bolton Council Planning Application: 89936/13
Planning Inspectorate Appeal: APP/N4205/A/13/2209440
This proposal is wholly inappropriate due to the devastating, detrimental visual and audible effects on the surrounding countryside and residential area in its shadow.
The site is Green Belt overlooking, The Jumbles Country Park, The Upper Bradshaw Valley Local Nature Reserve and borders Riding Gate Conservation Area.
The applicant has no intention of using any of the energy on his farm but will sell it all back to the National Grid.
At a Planning Committee meeting on the 12 December 2013 in Bolton, the Committee refused the application.
We the undersigned are opposed to this planning application and request the appeal be rejected:
