CQC need to accurately check care homes and be held liable if they fail to do so.
The government should pass a ruling that the Care Quality Commission should physically check all care homes every year for accuracy and validity in the claims on documentation and not be allowed to just accept paper statements from care homes and it should be mandatory for all members of staff to be first aid trained.
There are far to many incidents of residents and service users loosing their lives due to negligent care, bad practice and poor training.
County Coroners are complaining about the rise in incidents they are seeing but no action seems to be being taken.
