MP's salary fixed percentage of national median salary
The salary of MPs should be a fixed multiple of the national median income. This would reward MPs for implementing policies that improve the general level of incomes. It would also encourage them to keep unemployment to a minimum and to redistribute more of the income of very high earners.
It might also set a precedent for pegging income support and pensions in a similar way.
