Calculate child maintenance payments including separated parents living costs.
Include basic living costs e.g. rent/mortgage council tax, rates when calculating the receiving parents child maintenance payments taking into account the amount of nights the paying parent has the children.
Basic living costs for the recieving parent could be substantially cheaper then that of the paying parent when the shared time of the children is very similar or the same eg 40/60 custody. Meaning the paying parent with 40% custody is paying extortionate rates to the recieving parent without taking into account for 40% of the year the paying parent is providing shelter, food and more to the children in question.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, by increasing the threshold where people start paying more than £7 a week, or reduce the percentage of gross income paying parents are replied to pay in child maintenance, or basing calculations on net income.
