Fund Increased Pay Rise for Teachers

Petition Details

Increase the wages for Teachers. Teachers within the UK work more than the hours they should, within schools and at home as well. They are securing futures for children and are getting payed pennies. Unlike the NHS, teachers have received no recognition for their work during COVID.

Additional Information

They hardly ever receive a real pay rise. In real terms their wages are less and taxes are more. National Statistics show that for the last 10 years teachers have been effectively stuck on the same wage since they first started. For what they do for the UK they deserve a much more higher wage.
