Stop members of the Lords collecting £300 a day for turning up
Seeing Lord Hanningfield trouser £300 a day for doing nothing is a slap in the face for everyone. It takes me a week to earn what he gets given in 20 minutes for doing nothing at all. This method of payment is open to abuse and urgently needs reform. How many other peers are abusing the system? These people are unelected, unaccountable and on the make.
