Support business by stopping the free provision of PPE to the private sector

Petition Details

The Government continues to offer free PPE (face masks, aprons/gowns, gloves etc) to private companies within the Healthcare industry. This has obviously had a huge negative impact on a once-thriving industry. Please help resurrect this industry now by withdrawing this facility

Additional Information

This move should help thousands of small and medium businesses in the PPE/Healthcare industry to once again thrive, releasing countless employees from furlough and, thereby, increasing tax revenues for the government. The offer of free PPE was an understandable and noble move but, now we are clearly escaping the worst of the Covid crisis, it is time to save this industry from stagnation
