Criminalise burning or intentional damage of the Union Flag.

Petition Details

Introduce a law to protect the Union Flag. To criminalise such action against the Union Flag that causes offence to loyal British subjects. Acts of desecration of our flag have offended many British citizens, yet there appears to be no specific law against such acts.

Additional Information

The Government and Parliament has a duty to Her Majesty and her subjects to protect the United Kingdom and such protection should embrace such national symbols as the Union Flag.
