Allow Scottish pubs/restaurants and wedding venues to play music/allow bands.
Scottish venues are not allowed to play background music in a pub or restaurant setting. After a year of doing as we are told as a nation we cant listen to music as we catch up with friends and family in a social setting. This seems over the top and unnecessary.
Weddings are not allowed to have music playing or dancing no matter what level the country is currently in, aside from the couples first dance. No band, no dj, no dancing, no fun. After a lot of couples have complied, cancelled and rearranged their special day this is a bit of a slap in the face, not to mention the wedding industry has been one of the hardest hit during the covid19 pandemic.
Its time to let people live their lives and stop the nonsensical rules.
