Rename Type One Diabetes to limit confusion with Type Two.
Type One Diabetes to be renamed to stop confusion with Type Two.
Most people when thinking of Diabetes think of Type Two, a condition that affects nearly 95% of Diabetics. Due to this Type One Diabetes and Type Two are often confused.
The differences between the two conditions are not well known publicly resulting in uncomfortable and unwelcome conversations. Type One Diabetics should not be compared to Type Two therefore I believe the name of the condition should be changed.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions must call for a specific action that the UK Government or House of Commons is responsible for. Decisions about how medical conditions are described and defined are a matter for public health agencies, not the Government or House of Commons. As a result it is not possible for the Government or House of Commons to take the action you have requested.
