Lifting the restrictions imposed on Muslims to perform public calls of prayers
The public calls of prayers are a fundamental part of the religion of Islam. They are believed to hold vital messages from ALLAH (The God) Muslims observe calls of prayers five times a day to ensure practising the rituals of the faith in an integral manner.
Calls of prayers are currently permitted only in private. They impose no harm or risk to any member of the society. Calls of prayers are performed at mosques (Houses of worship) and are formed of nearly forty words which can be broadcasted within three minutes.
Permitting the public calls of prayers helps new generation ensure that their religious culture is safe and transferable within an inclusive society where everyone’s culture, believes and holy times are respected and celebrated.
