Give single fathers more rights to their children.
Fathers deserve the same rights as a mother. Single or separated fathers have no help from any authority regarding access to their children. The only backup they have is a court order which they have to pay for, even then the court order doesn’t have to be abided by, by the mother who denies access
So many men are caused stress and anxiety by their ex partners regarding access to their children. Men’s mental health NEEDS to be taken into consideration, and the fact the child belongs to BOTH parents needs to be considered. Separated fathers are a high risk suicide group, and this could be prevented if there was some law in place to protect them, and their children.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Previously married fathers, or those registered on the birth certificate, already have parental responsibility. You can find out more here:
www.gov.uk/parental-rights-responsibilities/who-has-parental-responsibility
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
