Halve Student Loans for 2020 -21
The government need to write off half the student debt for this academic year. The student experience has been limited due to COVID with the majority of teaching online and yet they have still been expected to pay the full cost of tuition fees.
Universities have had running costs despite being online. The majority of students would not qualify for a refund from the University.
Therefore the government need to treat students by halving the debt for the last academic year.
