Additional Information

Please sign this petition to encourage the Government to introduce and enforce a simple idea that will generate, a conservative estimate of, at least £100million to be donated to charities.

The idea is to make it possible for the consumer (the public) when at the point of paying at a retailer, to round their bill up to the nearest 5p eg. a total bill of £28.37 becomes £28.40 with the 3p being donated, or £6.83 becomes £6.85 or £142.16 becomes £142.20, with the 2p and 4p, respectively, being donated.

The average donation would be just 2p but with over 10 billion transactions taking place in the UK, hundreds of millions of pounds could be raised for good causes, every year.

This may be followed by other countries and could be replicated all over the world.
