UAE to be removed from government's red list immediately.
UK to remove the red list status imposed by Grant Schapps immediately. More should be done by the UK government to allow the 240000 Britons currently living in the UAE to return home without penalty.
The UAE has the 2nd best vaccination program in the world. It has strict transit rules banning any countries who have high Covid rates from travelling to the UAE. There are also the strictest rules in place protecting its public.
Grant Schapps has said, “The specific issue in the UAE is one of transit. It’s because they are a major transit hub."
Of the 20 largest transit hubs in the world, Dubai has the highest rate of vaccination and one of the lowest Covid death and infection rates.
