When a property is agreed to be sold, no one can pull out once solisitor start

Petition Details

I feel very strongly once a price has been agreed on a property sale and solicitors have been instructed no party is allowed to pull out of the sale without a strong valid reason I.e person they were purchasing with has passed away

Additional Information

So many people I currently know & including myself so far has happened 7 times to me & my young family, we get very close to exchanging on a property purchase and last minute someone breaks the chain ! We’re left with a big bill to pay to solisitor, we lost money on property surveys , lost money on payment for searches, our Mortgage offer expired and we had to pay everything all over again for something out of our control. This runs into thousand of wasted pounds ! It has to be stopped
