Allow Syrian refugees to enter Britain
The Secretary General of Amnesty International has declared that the leaders of some European countries, including Britain, should 'hang their heads in shame' for closing their borders to Syrian refugees, The UK currently has no plans resettle or provide temporary protection to Syrians displaced by the civil war. (Germany, by contrast, has already settled 10,000)
This petition calls upon the Government to summon the moral courage to defy the right wing tabloid press and to be at least as generous as Germany in allowing a quota of Syrian refugees to enter this country
