For the government to put pressure on GPs to return to seeing their patients.
I want the government to make it mandatory for people to have access to seek face to face contact with their general practitioner
Because A and E departments are overloaded with people who need treatment and/or diagnosis or reassurance as their GPs are not available. I also have two elderly friends whose husbands have had strokes who have never been offered help since they were released, eighteen months ago, from hospital despite requesting their doctors to visit.

Decisions on when to offer a face to face, as opposed to a remote, consultation are an operational decision for GPs and NHS Trusts.
