Face to Face doctors appointments
So as the public can have face to face consultations with GP's
The public are now fed up at not been able to se a GP face to face. GP's now want appointments to be via telephone the public do not want this, they want a return to face to face appointments With their GP's.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise.
Decisions on when to offer a face to face, as opposed to a remote, consultation are an operational decision for GPs and NHS Trusts.
You may be interested to know that NHS England wrote to GP practices on 13 May, specifying that practices must make a clear offer of face to face appointments, and respect patient preferences for face to face appointments where clinically appropriate. You can read the letter here:
