This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you are concerned about existing arrangements for social care, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.

We have published the following petition, which you might like to sign:

Stop the sale of homes to pay for care - Fund free care homes for all: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/585876

The Government announced in the Queen's Speech, which sets out plans for the new parliamentary session, that it would "bring forward proposals for social care reform in 2021 to ensure that
every person receives care that provides the dignity and security they deserve."
