Make the House of Lords an entirely voluntary membership
To withdraw all the current payments from the public purse to members of the house of Lords and make it an entirely voluntary position with no public funding of any kind involved
This is an unelected body which meddles in our domestic politics at great expense to the UK taxpayer even including having their meals and alcoholic beverages subsidised. This cannot be justified any longer
