Give all primary carers an extra 5 days paid leave from work.
Support working primary carers who have been disproportionately affected by covid to recuperate by giving an additional 5 days statutory leave to support their wellbeing
Working primary carers carry out many hours of unpaid work each week. Covid has disproportionately affected these people who have carried an additional burden during lock downs in particular. Providing 5 days additional statutory paid leave would improve their wellbeing and reduce the burden on the NHS, care services and employers by reducing long term sickness due to stress and mental health issues

All workers have the same statutory entitlements to annual leave. Decisions about annual leave beyond statutory entitlements are a contractual matter for individual employers, not the Government or House of Commons. As a result it is not possible for the Government or House of Commons to take the action you have requested.
