Extend Scottish independence referendum voting rights
If there is another Scottish independence referendum, include any UK citizen with personal connection to Scotland to vote, regardless of current residence.
Let personal connection be defined as birth, documented ancestry, professional or civic responsibility.
UK citizens are entitled to vote in elections for Parliament, regardless of current place of residence. Scottish Independence is a major constitutional question that must be shared with all who have personal or family connections with Scotland. There are people with ancestral history and professional or civic responsibilities in Scotland who must be included.
