Reduce national speed limit on dangerous rural roads
Please support in lowering the national speed limit on dangerous rural roads to reduce the number of road traffic accidents.
By supporting this petition you will be supporting to keep our roads safe and offer peace of mind to the local community where some rural roads act as a death trap with blind junctions resulting in people taking unnecessary risks placing their life at risk.
This petition was triggered following living close to a dangerous junction where a number of serious traffic accidents have taken place and it has been out of the local council’s hands to reduce the speed limit given this is a set national speed on rural roads, generically.
This will also add extra safety to children who use the roads to cycle on.
