Petition Action

Make Psychology/Wellbeing classes a part of the national curriculum for all ages

Petition Details

Many people will experience poor mental health at some point in their life, yet many people have little to no understanding as to why we are feeling this way until we either hit rock bottom or find the courage to talk about it.

Additional Information

Mental illness still has stigma around it and always will unless from an early age the next generation understand that it is not something to be embarrassed about or ashamed of. Prevention is better than a cure and teaching children and young people about emotions and how they impact our behaviours and thoughts should help children understand themselves better, be able to recognise when they need help and provide awareness to notice changes in their friends. Education is needed for change.
