Transphobia rife among UK employers as 1 in 3 won't hire a transgender.
The UK law is limiting in protecting transgender workers from discrimination.
The government to give equality to all transgender in the workplace and change the law on employing transgender.
This is causing poverty and suicide amongst the transgender community.
There is a strong prejudice among UK employers towards transgender workers with 1 in 3 employers admitting they are "less likely" to hire a transgender person and nearly half (43%) unsure if the would recruit a transgender.
88% have no trans-inclusive workplace policy. The percentage of industries that wont employ transgender.
The retail sector (47%)
IT (45%), leisure and hospitality (35%) and manufacturing (34%)
