Allow school children 5 days of term time holiday per academic year
All school children should be allowed to take time off during term time so they can go away on holidays (without paying the massively increased fees that happen at half terms) or to spend time with family.
All families should be given the option of 5 holiday days per school year, if they want to take their children out of school without the risk of being fined.
If the child meets an acceptable standard of attendance throughout the year, then they should be granted these holiday days.
