Petition Action

Stop the building of a £200m national flagship. It’s a colossal waste of money.

Petition Details

Reject attempts to use public funds to build a national flagship to promote trade around the World. It’s a colossal waste of money and would be better spent on supporting initiatives within the U.K.

Additional Information

Using public funds to build a ship to sail around the World is a mistake. The return on the investment for such a vessel has not been substantiated. In addition, the ongoing maintenance costs required throughout the ships life would be better and more wisely spent on initiatives within the U.K.
