Allow singing in places of worship
Amend the Coronavirus Regulations to allow singling in public places of worship
The UK has the majority of adults already vaccinated with at least 1 dose. If worshippers wear masks, the amount of potential virus spread will be limited. It will improve our mental health

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about current Covid-19 restrictions, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Singing is already permitted during worship, for groups of six indoors or groups of 30 outdoors: www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-guidance-for-the-safe-use-of-places-of-worship-during-the-pandemic-from-4-july/covid-19-guidance-for-the-safe-use-of-places-of-worship-from-2-december
We have published the following petition, which you might like to sign:
Allow non-professional singing in groups of more than six indoors: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/586559
If you want the Government to end all restrictions on singing in places of worship you could start a new petition explaining clearly that this is waht you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
