Award the Police dog “Kaiser” the Dickin medal for gallantry.
The Government should push for the Police dog Kaiser, who apprehended and halted an armed man in South London despite being stabbed in the head 5 times, the Dickin Medal for gallantry for his incredible actions in arresting the suspect.
Police animals need far more recognition and Kaisers story and especially injuries in the line of duty deserve acknowledgment and recognition for his service.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Awards can only be presented following nominations by individuals, and cannot be awarded as a result of petitions, so we can’t publish your petition.
The Dickin Medal is presented by the PDSA (People's Dispensary for Sick Animals), not the Government or House of Commons, but you can find out how to nominate an animal for an award here: www.pdsa.org.uk/what-we-do/animal-awards-programme
