Introduce age verification for online porn/sexual images as a matter of urgency.
In an increasingly digital world, protecting children from online harms is one of our great challenges. We are failing our adult responsibilities by delaying this legislation.
We want the 2017 intended legislation, which would have protected our children, to be implemented immediately.
Children as young as seven are viewing pornography.A major study by the BBFC proved that more than half of 11 year olds have seen porn & 66% of 14 year olds said the same.
Evidence proves that exposure to porn is harmful to children and has a damaging impact on their views of sex and relationships. 83% of parents support age-verification controls.
Through Everyone’s Invited our children are shouting at us to help them- why are we not listening?
This is a national crisis for children. Act.
