Add UAE to amber or green list.
Change the list the country is on ASAP so that families can see each other, essential tourism to the UK can restart and so that there is some consistency with regards to the traffic light system. How can a country with some of the best covid management in the world be penalised whilst others aren’t?
The UAE has one of the highest vaccination rates, lowest infection rates, best covid management in the world. The excuse of it being a transit hub is obsolete as covid tests are required to be able to travel to the destination. It’s superior covid management warrants it off the red list ASAP.
