Make a month for military and veterans appreciation
These people fight for our lives and risk their lives to help keep our rights intact, other countries such as America have months dedicated to veterans so why can’t the uk
It is important to make sure that people shine light and appreciation on current soldiers and past soldiers in service. Appreciate and acknowledge the struggles they may have and have a month to be activists on this problem.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The Government is not responsible for designating particular days or months for learning about or celebrating particular subjects.
We could accept a petition calling on the Government to provide a new form of service medal for all armed forces veterans, if that's something you would like to happen.
You may like to sign this petition which calls for a related action: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/579827.
