Extend the weekend by one day - Monday being the day added to the weekend.
Extend the weekend by one day making the weekend Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Leaving working days as Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
It has been proven that extending the weekend by one day will improve the mental health of individuals as well as work productivity and performance would increase. This is more of a fair balance and still leaves more working days than weekend days. This will need to be on the basis that you would still be paid the same regardless of the hours you work in the week for people already in a permanent contract and have passed probation.
