All NHS staff to be awarded a Long Service & Good Conduct Medal.
Not just for this time of National and International crisis and what is a wave of public out pouring of gratitude to all grades within the NHS, award a long service and good conduct medal for all eligible staff at some point in service, as the case with other Government agencies.
Having been a uniformed individual for part of my working life, I look on with much bemusement at how service like the Police, Fire & Armed Forces personnel are awarded a long service and good conduct medal, whereas in the NHS, Doctors, Nurses, Techs, Porters and so on receive nothing at all.
I wish to petition you, our Government and attempt to change this strange anomaly of process, on a personal note we receive more recognition for working on Covid-19 projects within Motorsport than our front line staff do working with it.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
We think this is similar:

If you'd like something different, such as a shorter service requirement, you could start a petition asking for that.
