Basic First Aid Training to be Taught in Secondary Schools.
Make it compulsory for basic first aid training to be taught in schools (e.g CPR, Heimlich). Whether this be during PE or Science lessons - this should be a core part of the curriculum. After recent events in the news it has raised awareness how important it is to have basic first aid training
This is something that is of national interest that I’m sure a majority would be in favour of. The government have the power to reach the whole nation in order to enforce this vital part of education and I believe if this was enforced by the government a large majority of people would be in favour of it. We should all know basic first aid, it could be the difference between life and death.
