Debate the steps required to protect mental health and safety at work.
Whereas workplace physical injuries have been in decline over a long period, mental injury statistics are showing no improvement.
I would like to see two things:
1. The H&SE should be mandated to be more interventionist.
2. Additional legislation needs to be enacted.
To reduce the mental suffering to those at work.
To reduce the enormous cost to the economy (£35 billion pa, not including NHS costs) of workplace mental injury.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We're not sure what new legislation you want to be brought forward.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
