Use the proposed planning regime to decrease environmental impact of new homes
Amend the proposed planning legislation to ensure local authorities impose strong environmentally friendly clauses , eg ev charging points, solar panels and heat pumps in planning permissions for large housing scemes.
To act in a way that recognises the Climate Emergency declared by Parliament.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand you are concerned about the environmental impact of new homes, however it's not clear by how much, or to what level, you want this impact of new homes to be reduced to. It is also not clear whether you want each of the technologies you mention to be required, and if not, which would be required, for all new homes.
