Re-assess the calculation of CMS -Parents are using their children as an income.
Parents should be encouraged to allow their children to spend equal amounts of time between both sets of parents, providing there are no safeguarding issues.
The system should aim to promote the parents trying to find a 50/50 split of the time a child has with both parents.
Parents up and down the country are being used as cash machines by the other parent.
Some parents refuse to pay because the money is not being spent on children. EVERY parent should share the responsibility of raising their children and money is not the way of supporting a child’s needs.
I feel there are too many parents that would like more time with their children but because money is involved the other parent stops time with the paying parent, as it will effect their financial situations.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We understand you'd like changes to the CMS system, but we're not sure what they are.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
