Make it illegal to smoke in the open air close to someone else's property.
The government urgently needs to discuss this issue, to create a law to protect people's health.
It is unbelievable that in the 2020's, non-smokers are not protected from smoke which can drift into their property / accommodation from people smoking nearby outside. This is now an urgent issue - especially given it is now summer - windows need to be open, and many people are still home-working. Also taking into account the Coronovirus pandemic - it is vital that people's general health is protected, and that people can be guaranteed the right to breath fresh clean air.

We could accept a more a petition calling for a more specific smoking ban, but it would need to be clear in exactly what circumstances you want smoking to be banned. Your petition refers to smoking near someone's property, but it's not clear if you want this to apply only to residences, or any property.
