Make learning about the LGBTQ+ community a part of the school curriculum.
I had never even heard of LGBTQ until I went on social media and learnt about it. I also had to explain to my friends what it was - they had no idea! I think that this is a problem that needs to be solved.
The younger children learn about how it is perfectly normal to love who you want, the less chance they will become homophobic and disrespectful.
