The Government should prevent profiteering from the Travel Industry
The Government should prevent any profiteering from travel companies or accommodation provider within the travel industry on the back of the global pandemic. They all have been offered subsidy and the furlough scheme free, all paid for by the tax payer.
The UK tax payer have funded all of the schemes to prevent these companies going in to liquidation or making redundancies. Why now are they slapping the tax payer in the face by overcharging for travel. Please action this as an illegal practice and start requesting that payments that have been made are refunded paid back to central government if they practice overcharging. Quite easy to base this onlt the last years prices.
