British citizens returning home,hotel quarantine cost should be borne by UK Govt
British citizens returning home should not have to pick up the cost of hotel quarantine which is mandated by UK government. Visitors, leisure travel no change required.
Overseas working British citizens are returning home to meet their families, they are using their annual leave to see their loved ones and already spending considerable amount of money on travelling expenses.
Firstly they shud be allowed to quarantine at their homes (provided they have both vaccination jabs). Secondly if they are to quarantine in a hotel (which is mandated by the govt) then simply pick up the hotel quarantine cost.
